My Artist Statement

There is a lot of diversity in the art that I have produced, but the recurring mediums I use for my art are often pencil sketches, paintings, portraiture, and sculptures. The human figure has been my primary interest in making art. My art can be described as realistic, simple in composition yet highly detailed. My goal is primarily focused on the aesthetic and less on the conceptual. This is because I find more satisfaction and value in capturing the essence, beauty, and likeness of the subject to reflect the subtle details about what makes that person unique in terms of their character and personality.
